sticky cloud / nuage collant
After some time thinking about the potentialities of the clouds : where this terminology comes from ? How it got imposed and subltely invaded our mind ? What does it do to our subconcious ? What is its actual materiality and how does that impact and shapes the territories of the world ? What can the clouds be ? The concrete buildings, the servers, the metal cabinets, the isolating plastic, the computing units, the wires, the connectors, the zeroes and the ones, the signals, the waves,... How to represent all of that, what do we wish for seeing and thinking about these realities ? How to think of storage, shared data and networks together, softly, ethically as something of the commons ? With all of these tools in our hands, I'd like to propose to imagine small visual ways to communicate and share our visions of these imaginaries of what we call "the cloud".
Four parts :
- Intro + sharing a bit about what we know, our concerns, our ways of reappropirating it. Getting inspired, taking activists stickers as a reference. (have examples of activists stickers archives). (approx 30 min)
- Welcoming the sticker printer and install the server together. Or on a computer or on a old android phone.

- Later: We go for a walk together, maybe for an ice cream and sticking our cloudy friends in strategic spots in Amsterdam. (1 evening mission)
