| Hackers & Designers is a non-profit cross-disciplinary community of programmers, engineers, designers, and artists. H&D organizes meetups where collaborative and inclusive workshops are given. <br><br>In 2015 H&D launched the first [[Hackers & Designers Summer Academy|H&D Summer Academy]], followed by a [[HDSA 2016. If you are so smart why are you so poor|second edition]] in 2016. The H&D Summer Academy offers participants a 10-day program including hands-on workshops, excursions, public film screening and a lecture program. <br><br>
