This activity is a result of my recent explorations around planting flowers and music sampling, and combining learnings and methods from each to slow them both down. How does digital data propagate, grow and evolve? How can different ecosystems live in harmony even when seemingly unrelated? How can I pay better attention to the conditions of what I grow/what grows around me?
Come with a few sounds you want to share and a willingness to curve and stretch them :) These “seed” sounds will form the base of a limited shared library. From there we will use an open-source dj software to mix, loop, and mutate them into small compositions — planting them in a digital landscape where they can develop under different weather conditions, tangle with other sounds, and reveal their roots.

I’m an art worker, facilitator, and writer based in Paris. My work focuses on improving conditions for cultural workers through labor rights advocacy, training on workplace violence, and harm-reduction practices. In my free time I contribute to independent and worker-led artistic structures through event coordination, production logistics, sound design, and gardening.
