	~~Join~~ H&D ~~for the~~ Crypto Design Salon at Waag Society ~~Thursday April 16th, 18:30–22:00~~		H&D did a mini design challenge during a Crypto Design Salon at [[Waag Society]]. During this challenge we used Edward Snowden’s statement that he missed eating Doritos while in exile in Russia as a jumping off point to examine fast data and fast food in our global late capitalist society.

	~~Some background~~		In this mini design challenge we collectively prototyped de- & encryption tools to transmit Doritos in the most secure way. The challenge participants were invited to brainstorm and create tools/methods, solving the challenge in any inventive way; in a technical manner, drawings, cut-outs, (gif-)animations, performative demonstrations…
	~~During the~~ mini design challenge we ~~are using Edward Snowden’s statement that he missed eating~~ Doritos ~~while~~ in ~~exile in Russia as a jumping off point~~ to ~~examine fast data~~ and ~~fast food~~ in ~~our global late capitalist society.~~
