A second session will take place on the 22 of July! '''Bio:''' Mio Kojima (they/them) is a Berlin-based German-Japanese design educator, editor/publisher, and curator. Drawing from queer intersectional feminist pedagogy and self-organized methodology, Mio critically examines the conditions and formats of learning and coming together, asking which experiences are valued and who gets to be present. Their research and teaching practice often centers on process documentation of self-organized structures, prompts to evoke (somatic) experience, and critical interventions to discuss the politics of collaboration and space-making and expand hegemonic ways of doing. Alongside Maya Ober, Mio is running Futuress, an intersectional feminist publisher and online platform at the crossroads of design and social justice.
