Frank Schallmaier studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Haag and now works as image journalist and editor at De Volkskrant. Next to his work with news photography Frank is an obsessive image collector. His collections are exhibited in musea and galleries such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the FotoMuseum Antwerpen.
